Tucson's City Manager has named Ms. Debra Chandler as the City's Economic Development Manager.
Ms. Chandler was selected from over 40 highly qualified candidates following a state-wide recruitment process. Ms. Chandler is currently the Executive Director of the Microbusiness Advancement Center in Tucson where she has worked since 2006. Previous to that Ms. Chandler worked as an executive in the banking industry for many years.

Microbusiness Advancement Center’s Business Planning Course is being presented by the Women’s Business Center. The series will cover all key elements of planning or re-tooling a successful business within its three planning clusters. This is a flexible and rotating schedule culminating in the development of a fully professional business plan. The work has been designed to address mistakes and issues leading to small business failures. Start immediately and finish in three months, or plan ahead. Enrollment includes individual counseling during the 10 weeks of instruction.
